The Future Awaits

A woman walking in a desert towards distant mountains. The large sun is setting before her. The overall color of the image is a dirty orange.

She walks alone across a wind-scoured desert, her cloak snapping in the heat.
The horizon burns gold. Somewhere far ahead—just barely within reach—drifts the sound of music. Joyful. Medieval. Impossible to place.

She doesn’t know what waits for her.

Neither do we.

This woman is not a hero in the traditional sense. She carries no prophecy, no promise of safety. She carries only forward motion. Hope. Doubt. The quiet courage it takes to keep walking when the future refuses to explain itself.

She represents us.

Every story I write begins here: at the edge of the known world, where certainty ends and consequence begins. My work explores strange lands and familiar fears, compelling characters and clashing viewpoints, moments where a single choice bends an entire future. These are stories about what happens *after* the decision is made—when ideals collide with reality, and good intentions don’t guarantee good outcomes.

Some paths lead to wonder.

Some lead to ruin.

Most lead somewhere in between.

Walk with me.

Listen for the music.

Discover the futures waiting just beyond the horizon.
